Offered with four dial colors: USM Green, Pure Orange, Golden Yellow, and Gentian Blue.

Zenith and USM Modular Furniture have collaborated to launch the Defy Chronograph USM series at Geneva Watch Days. By inquiring into the potential outcomes of a convergence between USM’s modular Haller system (1965) and Zenith’s El Primero chronograph (1969), the two brands have crafted a capsule that embodies their mutual ethos of accuracy, intentional aesthetics, and modernity.
Each watch is encased in a 37.3 mm stainless-steel casing that adheres to the original DEFY’s striking octagonal form and 14-sided bezel. It showcases four unique dial colors: USM Green, Pure Orange, Golden Yellow, and Gentian Blue, each reflecting the modular design of the USM Haller system. The chronograph seconds hand features a little USM-style ball joint infused with Super-LumiNova, providing a whimsical yet practical enhancement.

Within, Zenith's renowned El Primero 400 caliber operates at a high frequency of 36,000 vibrations per hour and provides a power reserve of 55 hours. Collectors can appreciate the openworked rotor with both the Zenith star and USM insignia through the sapphire caseback.
Restricted to merely 60 units per colorway and priced at $11,800 USD, each watch is housed in a bespoke USM Haller–inspired timepiece chest that embodies the partnership's dedication to structure and craftsmanship.
