Czapek Reveals the Promenade Transparencies Aqua Blue in a 38-Piece Limited Edition

Czapek expands its openworked collection with the Promenade Transparencies Aqua Blue, a 38-piece limited edition featuring a smoked sapphire dial and fully skeletonized in-house movement.

A New Aqua Blue Take on the Promenade

Following the Promenade Transparencies Viridian Green, Czapek returns to the design with a new Aqua Blue treatment. The watch centers around a smoked sapphire crystal dial that reveals the skeletonized movement beneath while introducing a distinctive blue fumé gradient.

The effect is created through a specialized metallization process, applying microscopic metallic dots approximately eight microns in diameter to the underside of the sapphire disc. Their density increases toward the outer edge, creating a darker perimeter while preserving greater transparency toward the center.

Housed in a 38mm stainless steel case measuring 10.8mm thick, the watch also features hand-applied hour markers made from solid blocks of light blue Super-LumiNova.

Skeletonized Mechanics Take Center Stage

Visible beneath the sapphire dial is Czapek's automatic Calibre SXH7, a fully skeletonized in-house movement featuring seven openworked bridges inspired by François Czapek's 19th-century pocket watches.

The movement is designed to showcase its finishing from both sides, while its escapement has been reversed to enhance visibility. A recycled platinum micro-rotor completes the mechanical design.
