The design features a "Retro Future" motif, characterized by a vibrant blue skeleton dial.

Seiko has collaborated with Bamford to launch a limited-edition Seiko 5 Sports SRPL95 watch. The design focuses on a "Retro Future" theme, integrating design features from two historical Seiko 5 Sports watches: a classic 1980s SKX and a 1960s model. Encased in a 42.5mm stainless steel housing, Bamford's distinctive feature is the skeleton dial, which reveals the automatic 4R36 caliber along with its 41-hour power reserve. The striking light blue dial features strong color accents that outline the large indices and prominently display the Bamford emblem at 6 o’clock.

Beyond the dial, each feature enhances the timepiece's artistic tale. A uni-directional bezel and 22mm lug width guarantee durability, while the NATO strap’s metal loop features Bamford’s emblem, contrasted against brushed and polished finishes. The engraved caseback features a discreet retro design, reminiscent of mid-century Seiko graphics, and converts the watch into a dynamic exhibition that celebrates the rich histories of both brands. The packaging serves as a distinct canvas, featuring a limited edition box adorned with graphic references to 1960s Seiko promotional graphics and typography reminiscent of that era.
The Seiko 5 Sports x Bamford Limited Edition is priced at £400 GBP (about $538 USD) and is limited to a production run of 2,025 pieces. It will be available for purchase on Seiko’s UK webstore beginning October 1, 2025.
