Audemars Piguet is officially augmenting its esteemed retail presence in South Florida. The Swiss Haute Horology company has inaugurated its new AP House in Miami Beach, introducing its creative and experiential retail strategy to the dynamic coastal city. The new expansive facility in Miami, after the 2006 inauguration of the Bal Harbour shop, is expertly crafted to envelop visitors in the rhythms, visuals, and auditory experiences that characterise both the renowned watchmaker and the city.

Audemars Piguet engaged the Miami-based design firm Studio DADO to realise its ambitious ambition. The 7,300-square-foot interior draws profound inspiration from the brand's historical origins in the Swiss village of Le Brassus, seamlessly merging that rich past with Miami's unique character. The opulent interior is characterised by welcoming pink hues, gentle contours, and sumptuous natural materials, such as stone, wood, metals, and textured glass. The AP House concept was initially developed by considering how founders Jules Louis Audemars and Edward Auguste Piguet would engage clients while travelling the globe today, rather than through a conventional retail shopfront. The outcome is an exceptionally refined and comfortable residential atmosphere that emphasises profound relationships, hospitality, and cultural connectivity.

Visitors traversing the expansive area will encounter a meticulously organised micro-museum featuring the brand's premier watches, in addition to a specialised watchmaker's hutch where collectors may confer with specialists and peruse an assortment of high-quality straps. The Miami site enhances the brand's connection to music and culture with a custom lounge that includes a designated listening area equipped with a record player and curated legendary vinyl records.

The room enhances the visual experience by serving as a gallery for modern art, with ceramic sculptures by Brazilian artist Sallisa Rosa and other works generously provided by Geneva’s Wilde Gallery. The uninterrupted transition between interior and outdoor spaces culminates in a vast patio adorned with blush terrazzo, providing an ideal setting for leisurely, stimulating conversations on luxury timepieces. The new Miami Beach site joins an elite global network of AP Houses in cities such as London, Tokyo, New York, and Milan, furthering Audemars Piguet's commitment to establishing intimate environments that beyond conventional retail and actively honour global culture.
