Frederique Constant introduces a limited edition commemorating the 60th Anniversary of Watches of Switzerland.

Swiss watchmaker Frederique Constant has partnered with Watches of Switzerland to celebrate the retailer's 60th anniversary. This cooperation presents a limited-edition variant of the Classic Worldtimer Manufacture, a remarkably intricate timepiece that highlights the brand’s commitment to workmanship and horological superiority.
This edition of the Classic Worldtimer Manufacture features a salmon sunray dial, embellished with a precisely embossed gray world map. The watch prominently showcases a salmon city disk that displays 24 IATA airport codes, underscoring its global connection. A significant enhancement to this model is the pearl black center seconds hand, with an intricate compass rose. This nautical element is unprecedented for the Classic Worldtimer Manufacture, rendering the timepiece uniquely distinctive.

The watch, with a polished stainless steel casing with a 42mm diameter, includes an exhibition caseback engraved with a unique limited-edition number (WOS XXX/100). The sophisticated design is enhanced by a dark brown alligator leather strap featuring a folding buckle, underscoring its timeless allure.
The core of Classic Worldtimer Manufacture is Frederique Constant’s own calibre FC-718, an automatic movement that has a 38-hour power reserve. The watch, engineered for efficiency and precision, facilitates effortless adjustment of all functions through the crown, merging technical ingenuity with user-friendliness.

In contemplating this milestone, Frederique Constant CEO Niels Eggerding articulated his delight for the partnership:
We are privileged to partner with The Hour Glass in Singapore and pleased to commemorate Watches of Switzerland’s 60th Anniversary with this limited edition of the Classic Worldtimer Manufacture, an emblematic timepiece from Frederique Constant. The salmon dial radiates understated sophistication and is, for the first time in its history, complemented by a modest compass rose on the counterweight of the seconds hand. A distinctive timepiece crafted with dedication to satisfy discerning horology aficionados.

Norman Ho, Group General Manager of The Hour Glass Group, expressed a similar sentiment:
The Frederique Constant Classic Worldtimer Manufacture exemplifies superior craftsmanship and international connectivity. It emphasizes the craftsmanship of horology and the robust collaborations that propel our sector. We are privileged to commemorate the 60th anniversary of Watches of Switzerland, honoring its past and anticipating the future of horology.
This anniversary edition will be offered by Watches of Switzerland, reinforcing its status as a leading destination for exquisite and unique timepieces. This launch signifies Frederique Constant and Watches of Switzerland's ongoing dedication to quality, honoring a mutual passion for watchmaking that spans generations.
