Each artwork consists of approximately 36,000 glass tiles per square meter, collectively creating a picture.

Art manifests in diverse forms and mediums. Many of us are most familiar with traditional oil on canvas or ink on paper mediums. Bodi Collections is a design studio that specializes in micro mosaic artworks composed of glass tiles, meticulously created using patented technology. A significant cooperation with Cycle & Carriage features a selection of pieces on exhibit at the Mercedes Benz Centre Singapore until 31 October 2022.
Each artwork has around 36,000 glass tiles per square meter, meticulously diamond-cut to dimensions varying from 3mm to 7mm, with a thickness of 1mm. Although the constituent components were processed by machine, the artworks are all meticulously hand-finished for optimal refinement. The displayed tiles, unlike conventional geometric mosaics, are contemporary masterpieces characterized by exquisite details, vibrant colors, and artistry.

From a distance, the minuscule pixels amalgamate to create an image. This may consist of a pair of red fish alongside a peony, undoubtedly enhancing any living environment. When juxtaposed with Mercedes-Benz vehicles, it exudes luxury and highlights the meticulousness of both automotive craftsmanship and micro mosaic artistry.

Bodi Collection was founded in 2001 as a company specializing in soft furnishings. Following the establishment of its customer base in commercial, hotel, and residential projects, the studio commenced the introduction of exclusive collections, with mosaic artworks serving as an extension of this growth. The studio has collaborated with artists globally, resulting in a collection of artworks available for purchase at the shop. The variety enables it to be one of the studios that provides distinctive pieces rarely found in Singapore.
