Vacheron Constantin Introduces Two New Overseas Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin Timepieces

Vacheron Constantin has augmented its Overseas collection with two new variants of the Overseas Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin: one in pink gold featuring a coordinating sunburst dial and moonphase, and another in white gold complemented by a rich burgundy lacquer dial. Both models have 41.5 mm cases with a sleek thickness of 8.1 mm, accompanied by 18K gold bracelets and two interchangeable rubber straps (blue or white for the pink gold variant, burgundy or white for the white gold variant).

Inspired by the Maison's Maltese-cross logo, these new items harmonize a sporty aesthetic with elegant proportions. The pink-gold edition showcases a delicate blue minute track and a recessed moon-phase aperture, whereas the white-gold variety juxtaposes sharp white numerals against a burgundy background. The juxtaposition of polished and satin-brushed surfaces on the bezel and caseband highlights the thin silhouette, while a sapphire-crystal caseback showcases a 22K gold rotor inscribed with a compass rose, paying tribute to the essence of exploration.

Both parts are powered by the ultra-thin Manufacture Calibre 1120 QP/1 movement, operating at 19,800 vibrations per hour. It operates a fully automatic perpetual calendar, encompassing day, date, month, and a four-year leap-year cycle on a 48-month counter, in addition to an accurate moon-phase display, requiring no user adjustment until 2100. Consisting of 276 components and 36 jewels, it has a power reserve of 40 hours and a water resistance of 50 meters. The exhibition caseback prominently displays Haute Horlogerie finishes, including Côtes de Genève, chamfering, and perlage.
