Independent watchmaker MING has officially launched the MING 57.04 Phoenix, augmenting its fifth-generation collection after the vibrant success of its predecessor, the 57.04 Iris. The Phoenix is engineered as a destro monopusher chronograph, featuring its crown and single pusher positioned on the left side. The dial showcases a concave grey surface with radial cuts that expose a multiphasic, color-shifting baseplate, resulting in a dynamic interaction of texture, shadow, and luminous highlights. The watch exhibits the brand's distinctive case construction, incorporating multi-piece stepped lugs that necessitate nine individual components solely for the lugs, thereby attaining a precise, alternating brushed and polished finish that would otherwise be unattainable.

The dial is designed for best legibility, incorporating diamond-cut hands and MING's distinctive luminous accents, which blend MING Polar White with Super-LumiNova X1. The manually wound Sellita for MING Cal. SW562.M1 movement powers this intricately sculpted left-handed chronograph. The customised calibre, visible through the open caseback, features a rhodinized mainplate and a carved anthracite three-quarter plate, providing roughly 60 hours of power reserve when fully wound.

Availability is restricted to 150 units, with pricing established at 6,250 CHF (about $8,085 USD) for the grey FKM rubber strap and 7,250 CHF (approximately $9,379 USD) for the titanium Polymesh bracelet. The Phoenix can be accessed via MING's official website and authorised retail partners.
