Automotive aficionados have a unique opportunity to obtain a genuine modern masterpiece as an ultra-exclusive 2023 Ferrari 812 Competizione “Tailor Made” is about to be auctioned. Managed by Relationship Manager Sotheby’s forthcoming Miami auction features a bespoke Italian supercar, epitomising Maranello’s front-engined, naturally aspirated V12 heritage, with an anticipated hammer price ranging from $1.8 million to $2 million USD.

This particular chassis, restricted to only 999 units globally, was enhanced through Ferrari's esteemed Tailor Made customisation program. The exterior features an eye-catching extra-range Prugna Opaco (matte plum) paint, complemented with Oro Opaco (matte gold) longitudinal racing stripes and matte gold forged racing wheels. Within the cabin, the race seats and luggage straps are upholstered in premium Poltrona Frau Heritage Castagno leather, complemented by Nero Alcantara, carbon fibre details, and Matte Gold Dreamlines on the paddle shifters.

In addition to its stunning design, the car has many custom elements that pay homage to Ferrari's illustrious racing legacy. Astute onlookers will discern a Matte Gold “38” behind the windows—a obvious allusion to the 38 laps of the Circuit de la Sarthe at Le Mans. Within the carbon-finned bonnet, the air filter compartments of the formidable 819-horsepower V12 engine display the silver pen autographs of contemporary Formula 1 racers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz.
