Designed by KØGE Design and Imprécis, the piece balances geometric rigor with gentle diffusion.

KØGE Design, a studio located in Copenhagen, has introduced the Boxing Ring Lamp 08, a sculptural lighting fixture created by Imprécis. The lamp, inspired by the architecture of a boxing ring, showcases a minimalist and industrial design that harmonises sharp geometric lines with a translucent core.

The lamp features a high-contrast material palette, comprising a sturdy steel frame that encases a fragile, opalescent diffuser. Four vertical columns uphold a sequence of horizontal components, like the ropes and posts of its sports counterpart. This structural "cage" not only contains the light source but also actively influences it; the integrated LED components produce a filtered, non-glare illumination that generates a dynamic interplay of shadows on the adjacent surfaces.
The Boxing Ring Lamp 081, measuring 29 cm x 29 cm x 27 cm and priced at $1,729 USD, is currently available for purchase on KØGE Design’s website.
