TAG Heuer’s latest special-edition Monaco arrives with a bold racing green finish and retro styling, celebrating the spirit of Goodwood and the timeless connection between the classic chronograph and motorsport heritage. Kindly visit www.tagheuer.com for more information.

Established in 1993 by the 11th Duke of Richmond, the Goodwood Festival of Speed has evolved into one of motorsport's most emblematic festivals. In 2025, TAG Heuer resumed its role as the Official Timing Partner of the race and will continue this partnership for the 2026 edition (July 9th – July 12th). The brand will include a distinctive pop-up experience dedicated to its motorsport heritage, including the iconic Porsche 917, as driven by Steve McQueen in the 1971 film Le Mans. Additionally, there will be timepieces, including the one you are about to see, a contemporary interpretation of the iconic Monaco Chronograph, adorned in the unmistakable hue of British Racing Green.
Recently, the F1 association has garnered significant attention at TAG Heuer, prompting the watches to evolve into more contemporary, technical, innovative, and audacious designs. The Monaco, a hallmark of the company, has been imbued with this ethos, exemplified by the launch of the Monaco Flyback Chronograph TH-Carbonspring, many Split Seconds versions, and the latest Evergraph. However, that would not be the most suitable choice for an event such as the Goodwood Festival of Speed. TAG Heuer is imparting a more retro aesthetic to its classic Monaco Chronograph, resulting in an appealing appearance.
TAG Heuer opts for the more traditional variant of its squared automatic chronograph with a crown at 3 o'clock. Constructed from steel, it preserves all characteristics of the watch, featuring a width of 39mm, a thickness of 15mm, and a lug-to-lug measurement of 47mm. The timepiece features a beveled sapphire crystal, a sapphire case back, and is water-resistant up to 100 meters. The uniqueness of the Monaco Chronograph x Goodwood Festival of Speed 2026 lies in its dial, adorned with hues reminiscent of a classic automobile or a refined British gentleman's attire. The dial's base is lacquered in British Racing Green, featuring a sunray-brushed finish. The sub-dials and the circular minute ring are depicted in beige. This version features several racing-inspired elements, including the checkered flag on the seconds hand, the red hue of the sub-dial hands, and the red indicator at 39 seconds, referencing the Festival's current Hillclimb record set by the McMurtry Spéirling driven by Max Chilton in 2022.
Contained within the case is the brand's exclusive Calibre TH20-00, a contemporary automatic integrated chronograph featuring a column wheel and vertical clutch. The movement operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour and has an 80-hour power reserve, visible through a sapphire case back featuring the Goodwood FOS emblem. The TAG Heuer Monaco Chronograph x Goodwood Festival of Speed 2026, featuring a sleek, vintage-inspired brown perforated leather band, is limited to 71 pieces and can be purchased at the brand's booth during the Festival. The price is GBP 7,750.
