Seiko has augmented its esteemed Presage series with the “Silver Bullet” Cocktail Time GMT, a watch inspired by the refined mixology tradition of Tokyo’s renowned Star Bar in Ginza. This model derives aesthetic and thematic inspiration from its eponymous cocktail – a refined, sophisticated mixture of gin, kümmel, and lemon juice – and seeks to encapsulate the craftsmanship of Japanese cocktail establishments.

The watch features a glossy, deeply embossed dial pattern intended to resemble the crystalline appearance of a martini glass. Considerate design elements enhance the bar-inspired motif: the blue GMT hand resembles the slender stem of a cocktail glass, while the gold-tone second hand alludes to a classic swizzle-stick stirrer. Legibility is improved by cursive blue Arabic numerals and pointed Dauphine-style hands, accompanied by a date display at the 3 o’clock position. The watch, encased in stainless steel and adorned with a classic brown leather band, harmonizes a formal, elegant aesthetic with the practicality of dual time zone tracking.

The Presage “Silver Bullet,” driven by an accurate mechanical movement, exemplifies Seiko’s dedication to authentic Japanese design and mechanical dependability. The timepiece is priced at £520 GBP (about $650 USD) and is currently available for pre-order on the Seiko Boutique website, with deliveries commencing in June.
