Seiko has introduced the Presage Classic Series “Shiro‑neri” Limited Edition in recognition of its 145th Anniversary, with other commemorative offerings including the Prospex Samurai Diver’s Watch Silverstone Limited Edition and the Astron GPS Solar Dual‑Time Chronograph. Restricted to 2,500 units globally, the “Shiro‑neri” exemplifies Seiko’s commitment to sophisticated Japanese aesthetics and traditional horological craftsmanship. The dial, influenced by silk-dyeing methods, features a pristine white hue beneath dual-curved sapphire glass, enhanced by gently curved hands and attached indices that generate nuanced depth and light reflections.

The watch features a mirror-finished casing with a super-hard coating for durability, complemented by a navy leather strap that provides a sophisticated contrast. Equipped with Seiko’s proprietary 6R51 calibre, the “Shiro‑neri” offers precision of ‑15/+25 seconds daily and a substantial 72‑hour power reserve, harmonizing mechanical dependability with subtle sophistication. This amalgamation of artisanal dial craftsmanship and technical precision highlights Seiko's capacity to integrate traditional artistry with contemporary horological innovation.

The “Shiro‑neri” is currently available for pre-order on the Seiko Boutique webstore, priced at £900 GBP (about $1,140 USD), with deliveries commencing in June.
