Pioneering artist Jia Wei debuts at Linda Gallery with the "Ruhua Wilding" exhibition.

Singapore’s Linda Gallery will play host to 35 of Chinese artist Jia Wei’s most prolific pieces.

Linda Gallery presents a vibrant new solo exhibition titled “Ruhua Wilding” by Chinese artist and creative pioneer Jia Wei. The Ruhua series artworks reflect Jia Wei's opinions and serve as a visual manifestation of his critique of the surrounding world. The animated creatures embody the artist's childish nature and reflect the "inner child" he has retained from youth into adulthood.

The exhibition presents a fantastical and surreal environment that enables viewers to embark on a symbolic journey of escapism and theatricality amidst society's incessant quest for virtual stimulation. The Ruhua series aims to embody Jia Wei’s artistic spirit during his journey of self-healing, breakthroughs, and rebirth throughout the nadir of his life.

Jia Wei is not only a pioneering artist but also has an extensive background as an innovative designer. His art is celebrated for its versatility across mediums, standing out amongst his peers with his signature avant-garde style and the Ruhua Wilding exhibition is a testament to these talents. The solo exhibition will showcase 35 pieces of Jia’s most prolific paintings and sculptures featuring artwork that used hundreds of thousands of LEGO bricks to create lifelike sculptures.
