NVIDIA Intends to Energise Worldwide Robotaxi Fleets by 2027

On January 5, 2026, during CES, NVIDIA declared its intention to lead the autonomous vehicle industry, targeting the deployment of Level 4 robotaxi fleets utilising its AI chips and Drive AV software by 2027. Although automotive sales presently provide a minor portion of revenue, CEO Jensen Huang has recognised robots and autonomous driving technologies as the company's second most vital growth frontier, subsequent to general artificial intelligence.

NVIDIA's approach focusses on both business operators and consumer makers.
