The sneaker draws design cues from the memorable Ford Explorer tour vehicles that roamed Isla Nublar in the 1993 blockbuster classic.

After an initial reveal that generated excitement among sneaker enthusiasts and cinema aficionados, official photographs of the Nike Ja 3 'Jurassic Park' have now emerged. This major partnership features Ja Morant’s third signature shoe undergoing a prehistoric transformation, directly inspired by the classic 1993 Ford Explorer tour vehicles. The top showcases a prominent T. rex-inspired design, characterised by a vivid yellow-to-green gradient base adorned with dynamic red claw mark designs that traverse the quarters. The high-gloss finish is enhanced by a textured, skin-like material on the mudguard, while the classic Nike Swoosh is reinterpreted in a deep black to stabilise the vibrant, jungle-inspired colour scheme.

The thematic focus on detail encompasses the specialised branding and technical elements of the sneaker. The tongue prominently features the iconic Jurassic Park T-Rex insignia alongside Ja Morant’s distinctive “JA” mark, establishing a tangible connection between basketball excellence and movie legacy. Durable, two-tone rope laces thread through the eyelets, emulating outdoor survival equipment, while the heel counter displays “warning” stripe patterns akin to the park’s hazard signage.
The midsole features a speckled "dirt" look and is positioned above a high-traction rubber outsole engineered for explosive movements on the court. This collaboration has a concealed "Life Finds a Way" inscription on the inner lining, serving as a dynamic homage to one of Hollywood's most lasting franchises.
