The Sequential Flyback EVO is priced starting at $230,000 and is currently available on MB&F's website.

MB&F's Legacy Machines persist in addressing founder Max Büsser's inquiry, "What would MB&F have produced a century ago, during the zenith of horology?"—specifically, what innovations might one of the world's most avant-garde watchmakers have conceived in the Roaring Twenties?
After six redesigns, it has been shown in a grade 5 titanium case featuring an aquamarine dial. The LM Sequential Flyback EVO enhances the achievements of the LM Sequential EVO, which was awarded the esteemed “Aiguille d’Or” at the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève, analogous to the Best Picture accolade at the Oscars.

The updated model incorporates a "flyback function" to both of its separate chronographs, in addition to the pioneering "Twinverter" switch that allows for toggling between several timing modes featured in the initial version. The word denotes a chronograph technology initially developed for aviators in the 1930s, enabling them to stop, reset, and restart their mechanical stopwatches with a single button press. The LM Sequential Flyback EVO features a "Twinverter" binary switch that simultaneously inverts the status of both chronographs. This facilitates several timing modes, encompassing independent, split-second, cumulative, and lap-timer configurations.
MB&F states that Northern Irish watchmaker Stephen McDonnell, the creator of the original LM Sequential EVO movement, initially incorporated a flyback feature. The business stated, "McDonnell believed it would be imprudent—indeed, reckless—to launch the watch with a flyback feature given the numerous untested components involved." The watch's mechanical core depends on internally jewelled vertical clutches and a distinctive jewelled roller within the flyback mechanism—a component so specialised that McDonnell had to fabricate the jewel himself for the initial prototype.
To enhance legibility, it adopts the LM range's characteristic tilted dial. The MB&F EVO watch is designed for an active lifestyle, offering 80 meters of water resistance, a screw-down crown, and an integrated rubber strap, akin to a G-Shock within the luxury timepiece category. It employs the “FlexRing” shock-absorption technology, a patented dampener positioned between the case and the movement to safeguard the 621-component engine during active operation.
