Maserati Unveils MCPURA Supercar at Goodwood

Featuring a 621 hp twin-turbo V6 Nettuno engine, a carbon-fiber chassis, and butterfly doors.

Maserati has unveiled the MCPURA, their newest high-performance creation, during the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed. The MCPURA is offered in both coupé and convertible (Cielo) models, enhancing the MC20 with improved aesthetics, superior craftsmanship, and an intensified emphasis on performance purity. At its core is the 621 hp twin-turbo V6 Nettuno engine, designed internally and coupled with a lightweight carbon-fiber monocoque, yielding a power-to-weight ratio of 5 lb/hp.

Notable characteristics comprise butterfly doors and, in the Cielo model, a PDLC glass roof that transitions from opaque to transparent in one second. Conceived with contributions from Maserati’s Officine Fuoriserie customization section, the inaugural vehicle was presented in Ai Aqua Rainbow, a vibrant blue hue that glistens like a moving prism. Internally, laser-etched Alcantara seats and magenta accents embody a futuristic yet artisanal Italian essence.

The MCPURA provides tremendous personalization with over 30 body color options, including new hues such as Devil Orange and Verde Royale. Maserati designates this model as “E = MCPURA,” reflecting its philosophy of converting energy into sophisticated performance. The MCPURA, constructed wholly in Modena, Italy, underscores the Trident's dedication to innovation, motorsport legacy, and design-centric luxury. Deliveries are scheduled to commence later this year, with production ongoing at Maserati's venerable Viale Ciro Menotti facility.
