Announced in 2025, the collaboration heralded a new era for high fashion and high performance. At the onset of a transformative season, the collaboration broadens its influence across all prominent events in the world's most viewed motorsport. The campaign commences with a striking preseason image taken in Bahrain, featuring all 22 drivers from 11 teams in anticipation of the season opening at the FORMULA 1 QATAR AIRWAYS AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX 2026 in Melbourne. At the core of the spectacle is the paramount accolade of the sport, showcased within its custom Louis Vuitton Trophy Trunk. The trunk transcends mere protection, representing a century-old expertise that elevates the process of crowning a champion into a rite rich in workmanship and legacy.

In the 2026 calendar year, Louis Vuitton will sponsor the Championship at 24 races, presenting a specialized Louis Vuitton Formula 1 Trophy Trunk during each Grand Prix ceremony. The House solidifies its position by becoming the Title Partner of the FORMULA 1 LOUIS VUITTON GRAND PRIX DE MONACO 2026, reinforcing connections with the Principality and enhancing a partnership initially established with the Automobile Club de Monaco. The Monaco alliance, which facilitated the establishment of the Formula 1 Grand Prix de Monaco Trophy Trunk from 2021 to 2024, established the groundwork for this broadened global ambition.

Trackside, the Maison's creative realm reemerges with revitalized vigor. Graphic characteristics influenced by velocity, accuracy, and aerodynamic dynamics will once more delineate the circuits, integrating the lexicon of racing with the visual vernacular of Louis Vuitton. As Formula 1 enters a new era characterized by lighter vehicles, sophisticated hybrid engines utilizing sustainable fuel, and an intensified emphasis on driver-centric performance, the House situates itself at the convergence of innovation and tradition.

The 2026 season anticipates significant transformation. Cadillac Formula 1 Team and Audi Revolut F1 Team are newly introduced to the field, while Honda forms a partnership with Aston Martin and Ford collaborates with Red Bull on power units. Madrid makes its debut as a host city with its first Grand Prix in September, indicating the sport's growing global presence and attracting hundreds of millions of spectators. Louis Vuitton's involvement in prestigious competition, however, precedes contemporary motorsport exhibitions. Since its collaboration with the America’s Cup in 1983, the House has designed trophy trunks for several esteemed events, including the FIFA World Cup, Rugby World Cup, Olympic Games Paris 2024, and NBA Finals. Every commission has the identical philosophy: greatness in athletics parallels excellence in craftsmanship.

From the Louis Vuitton Classic Run rallies of the 1990s to contemporary Formula 1 podiums, automobile culture has consistently been integral to the House's identity. The existing cooperation is distinguished by its magnitude and significance. Formula 1 epitomizes the zenith of velocity, strategy, and technological audacity. Louis Vuitton responds with trunks designed not only to carry trophies but to transform them into symbols of success. As the 2026 lights extinguish in Melbourne and a new season commences, the message reverberates with enhanced clarity. In a championship characterized by milliseconds, expertise, and unyielding drive, each victory culminates in a moment where skill intersects with competitiveness. At that moment, amidst flashing cameras and cheering people, triumph once more accompanies Louis Vuitton.
