The luxury eyewear brand's first retail gallery thoughtfully merges East Coast Art Deco architecture with West Coast natural design elements, all anchored by monumental skull sculptures inside the multi-level space.

The luxury eyewear firm Jacques Marie Mage (JMM), based in Los Angeles, has established its inaugural exhibition in New York City. Located at 140 Wooster Street, the expansive 2,100-square-foot, multi-level venue serves as an appropriate new residence for the Maison's esteemed frames, high-quality leather items, jewelry, and handpicked antiquities, all situated in the center of SoHo.

Developed in partnership with architect and designer Jacques Garcia, the gallery's interiors feature a remarkable Art Décoratif style, harmonizing urban futurism with natural elements. Exotic woods and reflective surfaces encase three monumental animal skull sculptures by artist Quentin Garel, conjuring a primitive essence while acknowledging its West Coast origins.
Individuals seeking to ascend must navigate past the jaws of Garel’s wolf, incorporating an additional whimsical and creative element. The anthropological atmosphere is established on the second level, which accommodates the brand's exclusive Collections Spéciales, Éditions Spéciales, and bespoke Made-to-Measure services, presented in a refined and evocative fusion of legacy, environment, and architectural grandeur.
