The brand’s third outpost in Japan’s Kansai region opens within Kobe’s historic former foreign settlement, occupying the Chartered Building—a landmark structure dating back to 1938 that once housed the British Chartered Bank.

NIGO's esteemed streetwear realm is officially broadening once again. HUMAN MADE has officially inaugurated its third physical location in the Kansai region, unveiling a new retail destination in the center of Kobe, Japan. HUMAN MADE KOBE formally opened its doors to fans on February 14, 2026, seamlessly integrating the brand's whimsical perspective with the city's own local identity. Located in Motomachi, near Kobe's former foreign colony, the new store significantly reflects the city's historical ambiance. Instead of creating a hyper-modern environment, HUMAN MADE deliberately established its presence within the renowned Chartered Building. Completed in 1938, this architectural monument initially accommodated the British Chartered Bank, and the interior design of the store directly honours that historical banking era while incorporating the brand's distinctive vintage-Americana style. A monumental, bespoke bull figure serves as the new mascot, welcoming fans to this cultural hotspot in Kobe.

To commemorate the big opening, HUMAN MADE produced a unique, store-exclusive nine-piece capsule collection. The festive collection is anchored by a Zip-Up Work Jacket, a premium “Tsuriami” Sweatshirt, and an Animal Graphic T-Shirt, all prominently displaying the location’s new characteristic bull image. The release also features a range of clothes and lifestyle products adorned with a unique, store-exclusive version of the brand's emblematic heart logo. In keeping with the building's historic banking motif, the collection is thoughtfully complemented by thematic accessories, such as a unique Bank Pouch and a solid Gold Bar Paperweight.

Entry to the store during its inaugural hours was exclusively regulated by an online lottery due to elevated demand, facilitating a seamless debut prior to general admission. HUMAN MADE KOBE, with its impeccable fusion of heritage architecture and elite streetwear, is set to become an essential destination for fashion aficionados in Japan.
