The Khaki Field Mechanical has served as a straightforward introduction to mechanical watches, and it has been offered in 42mm and 38mm case sizes over time. The new Khaki Field Mechanical 36mm and Khaki Field Mechanical 250 revert to the previous sizes. The 36mm stainless steel case features a matte sandblasted finish, with a thickness of 10.2mm and an 18mm lug width. It is affixed on a textile NATO strap featuring a pin clasp; the US edition additionally included a supplementary calf leather strap and commemorative packaging. Hamilton has reintroduced features such as fixed bars and an acrylic crystal, imparting a more utilitarian, tool-watch aesthetic without superfluous elements. The acrylic, box-shaped crystal features a durable coating and an anti-fingerprint treatment.
