The Fondazione, co-founded by designer Dries Van Noten and Patrick Vangheluwe, intertwines legacy and innovation.

In April 2026, the esteemed city of Venice will inaugurate a significant new cultural institution: the Fondazione Dries Van Noten. Co-founded by designer Dries Van Noten and Patrick Vangheluwe, the Fondazione is located in the splendid Palazzo Pisani Moretta (San Polo, 2766), integrating the city's rich heritage of craftsmanship with a dedication to modern artistic expression.
Grounded in the conviction that craftsmanship embodies cultural identity—conveying significance through materials and actions—the Fondazione converts the historic palazzo into a vibrant artistic landmark. It is conceived as a dynamic centre where traditions are not only maintained but are perpetually reimagined through ongoing exchanges among global innovation, local expertise, and artisanal skill.

Throughout the year, the Fondazione will present a variety of events, including lectures, collaborative projects, residencies, and educational initiatives designed to empower future generations of creatives. The Fondazione Dries Van Noten seeks to foster interdisciplinary connections and engage with Venice’s cultural network to create innovative perspectives and opportunities for the city, using the lasting influence of art and beauty.
