Ferruccio Rossi was appointed CEO of the European overseas commercial firms of the Sanlorenzo Group in April 2024.

This promotion also encompassed Rossi's acquisition of a minority position in the share capital, pending approval at the forthcoming Sanlorenzo Shareholders' Meeting set for June 2024. Simultaneously with this new arrangement, Rossi resigned from the Board of Directors of Sanlorenzo S.p.A. on May 13.

In his new position in the Principality of Monaco, Rossi will oversee Sanlorenzo’s commercial expansion in the Principality, France, and Spain via the Sanlorenzo Monaco Group, which maintains offices in Monaco, Cannes, and Palma.

Massimo Perotti, Chairman and CEO of Sanlorenzo Group, stated, “This agreement is integral to the overarching strategy of direct distribution for the Sanlorenzo brand in key markets, a strategy that has recently materialized in the Asia-Pacific with the acquisition of Simpson Marine Group, and which has been established in the American market for years via the Sanlorenzo of the Americas team.”

“Sanlorenzo reaffirms its position as the ‘First Mover’ in the yachting industry by implementing customer-centric strategies in the locations where our products are utilized.”

Rossi stated, “I am proud and thankful that Mr. Perotti has entrusted me and the Sanlorenzo Monaco Group team, comprised of exceptional professionals, with the commercial development of several iconic regions in the nautical sector, employing a wholly innovative strategy of direct brand presence, similar to trends observed in the high-end market for some time.”
