Bremont builds upon the popularity of its limited-edition cupro-aluminum bronze Terra Nova by introducing a new, non-limited version in 904L steel. This new, unrestricted edition is designed to further showcase the versatility of the Terra Nova collection. The launch introduces a sophisticated and refined rendition of the old montre à guichet ("window watch") to Bremont's modern collection of field watches.

The 38 mm cushion-shaped case maintains the Terra Nova’s low-profile contour and abbreviated lugs, inspired by early 20th-century military pocket watches, while showcasing the Jumping Hour mechanism in a durable, practical design. The timepiece has the uniquely engineered Jumping Hour caliber BC634 in collaboration with Sellita, which operates distinct hour and minute apertures with a central running seconds hand, achieving an instantaneous hour jump in less than 1/10th of a second. Contemporary performance materials and finishes provide a 56-hour power reserve and consistent 28,800 vph running, all encased within an adorned 904L steel caseback.

The Terra Nova Jumping Hour, crafted from polished and brushed steel, showcases basic legibility: linear apertures reveal hours and minutes with brown-printed numerals on rotating discs, while the compass-inspired black small-seconds hand reflects Bremont’s exploration legacy.

Davide Cerrato, CEO of Bremont, remarked: “We believe this watch possesses the potential to evolve into a future icon, comparable to the Altitude MB.” In this context, we are pleased to present its second incarnation, constructed from 904L steel and unrestricted. It is as durable as any Bremont and makes a striking fashion statement.

The Terra Nova Jumping Hour in Steel is priced at $5,100 USD with a steel band. The chocolate box-stitch leather strap is also available for $4,800 USD. Both alternatives are currently accessible as part of the regular collection through Bremont.
