adidas Originals is formally collaborating with the Los Angeles-based, Atlanta-origin streetwear brand SP5DER for a striking new relationship. The initial collection combines SP5DER’s avant-garde, punk-inspired aesthetic with the esteemed tradition of the German sportswear company, presenting a bold reinterpretation of the famous Superstar Supermodified silhouette alongside co-branded items.

The SP5DER Superstar Supermodified elevates the classic shell-toe trainer, with premium patent leather uppers entirely debossed with the brand's distinctive spider web design. The style is enhanced by metallic heel embellishments and a laser-engraved spider keychain. The sneaker's iconic Three Stripes have been entirely redesigned—exhibiting a distressed appearance, increased boldness, and repositioned higher on the forefoot for a more aggressive, forward-leaning posture.

The collaborative footwear will launch in two separate colourways: a subtle black version featuring tonal black stripes, and a striking red variant accented with black stripes. Both variants are packaged in specialised corrugated boxes filled with an assortment of thick laces, enabling extensive customisation. The black colourway features Solar Green, Sp5der Pink, and Sp5der Yellow laces, whereas the red variant is supplied with White, Sp5der Yellow, and Sp5der Pink laces.

The capsule is complemented by a robust fashion selection focused on the “I Love Sp5der” graphic T-shirt. The garment is offered in both a pristine white and a flexible black colourway, showcasing a tactile puff print pattern that ingeniously replaces a conventional heart with the iconic adidas Originals Trefoil emblem.
