Merging refined independent watchmaking with playful retro references, the collection reimagines haute horology through a distinctly lighthearted lens.

The independent watch maker Krayon has introduced a whimsical new product, the PAC-MAN Watch Series — a limited-edition series consisting of merely 15 distinct pieces, each fashioned in platinum. Conceived by Fei Hou and Rémi Maillat, the watches reimagine Krayon’s esteemed Anywhere movement through a playful and nostalgic perspective of PAC-MAN, converting the cycle of sunrise and sunset into a humorous yet accurate horological narrative.

Each reference showcases a 39mm PT950 platinum case encasing a polished onyx dial, adorned with hand-painted sapphire discs representing PAC-MAN, ghosts, and fruit in precise proportions authentic to the original game. The yellow figure serves as the day/night indicator, travelling around the dial to denote sunrise and sunset, while the ghosts' eye positions discreetly signify solar shifts. At midnight, the ghost gang transforms to blue, reflecting the game’s rules, before reverting to their original colours at daybreak. This intricate timepiece is crafted with precision, with 432 components, 55 jewels, and a 72-hour power reserve, highlighting Krayon’s dedication to mechanical artistry. The PAC-MAN series is a limited edition release, comprising just 15 distinct pieces globally, available through Krayon and its authorised distributors.
