Seiko has introduced the C038 EVA-01 Diver’s Watch Limited Edition, a partnership with the iconic Neon Genesis Evangelion. As an element of the “RADIO EVA THE 30” initiative, commemorating the 30th anniversary of the legendary anime franchise. This cooperation represents the inaugural instance of a Seiko diver watch incorporating a design influenced by the EVA Unit-01.

The watch, with a case diameter of 45mm, is constructed from stainless steel and showcases a distinctive two-tone green and purple colour palette that instantly associates it with the renowned mecha. The dial features a honeycomb pattern reminiscent of the Evangelion universe, with the 12 o’clock marker and embellishments at 2 and 10 o’clock designed to resemble the face and chest plate of Unit-01.

A notable characteristic of this collaborative clock is its custom-molded central second hand, designed in the form of the Spear of Longinus. This crimson spear functions as a striking accent that traverses the dial, intended to captivate devoted enthusiasts.

Designed for both daily wear and athletic activities, the watch features a robust black silicone band. It is a durable professional instrument, with 200m water resistance for divers and driven by the dependable Seiko Calibre 4R36 mechanical automatic movement, which includes a 41-hour power reserve and a day-date calendar function. The hands and indices are also coated with LumiBrite to enhance visibility in low-light environments.

The watch, restricted to 300 units globally, is set to launch in early March 2026, priced at ¥132,000 JPY (about $847 USD) via the official EVA webstore.
