Pete Davidson is exchanging the vibrant atmosphere of Studio 8H for the unrefined ambiance of his own driveway. The former Saturday Night Live cast member has formally collaborated with Netflix to introduce The Pete Davidson Show, a personal, weekly video podcast scheduled to premiere on Friday, January 30. The series will be recorded predominantly in Davidson's garage, a location he characterises as the venue for "the best conversations," emphasising realism above polished production.

This project represents Davidson's fourth significant partnership with the streaming platform, succeeding the acclaim of his stand-up specials Alive from New York (2020) and Turbo Fonzarelli (2024). Davidson asserts that the initiative is a logical continuation of his enduring association with the platform, stating, “Netflix was the venue for one of my initial stand-up specials, so it seemed appropriate to introduce the podcast there as well.” Fans can anticipate an unrestrained environment as the comedian engages with intimate friends and fellow producers to converse on a wide array of topics, with select episodes featuring on-location segments.

The production reunites Davidson with his regular creative associates. The series is produced by Marc Lieberman (Above Average) and Ayala Cohen (SNL), with direction by Sarah Brennan Kolb. The Pete Davidson Show seeks to combine the unrefined atmosphere of a backyard gathering with the expansive platform of Netflix, providing an unvarnished insight into the psyche of one of comedy's most forthright figures.
