Jaeger-LeCoultre unveils a new rendition of their Master Control Calendar, a limited edition honoring the Maison's innovative triple-calendar movements from the 1940s. The new model features a 40mm stainless-steel casing and showcases a highly textured, two-tone gray dial that references mid-century sector designs while maintaining a distinctly modern aesthetic.

The dial is skillfully segmented into light and dark gray sectors to enhance legibility. The day and month apertures are positioned on white discs featuring black decal numerals at the top, while a small-seconds subdial below houses the moonphase display — its polished moon traversing a starry blue sky, encircled by dark-gray hour indices. A light-gray minute ring encircles the hour track, leading to a dark-gray outer date scale, where a red-tipped hand "jumps" 90 degrees between the 15th and 16th of each month to avoid obscuring the moonphase.

At its core lies the in-house Calibre 866, a self-winding movement featuring a 70-hour power reserve and the brand's stringent "1000 Hours Control" accreditation. The swift gliding date mechanism guarantees that the red-tipped hand traverses the dial seamlessly each mid-month, without disrupting the lunar display. The Master Control Calendar, limited to 500 units, is priced at $15,300 USD and may be purchased from Jaeger-LeCoultre.
