Clase Azul Mexico has launched Recuerdos, the concluding installment in the five-part Nuestros Recuerdos series commemorating Día de Muertos. This limited edition of 10,000 bottles encapsulates memories via artistry, design, and tradition.
Mexican artist Erika Rivera's artwork on the ivory decanter features a tranquil ofrenda encircled by ethereal spirits in muted hues. Every gold-plated pendant, meticulously created by the family-operated Milagros de Latón studio in Jalisco, features an obsidian cameo that represents the mirrors positioned on altars for visiting souls to identify themselves.

The tequila, crafted by Master Distiller Viridiana Tinoco, combines spirits matured between 12 and 38 months in newly utilized American whiskey casks. A segment of the agave was prepared in a conventional pit oven, imparting a smokey nuance that Tinoco characterizes as “a nostalgic return to my grandmother’s kitchen.” Notes of agave, orange peel, caramel, and clove culminate in a citrus and toasted wood finish.
Concluding the series initiated with Sabores, Colores, Aromas, and Música, Recuerdos encapsulates the enduring presence of memory and love via art. The 1-liter bottle (40% ABV) is priced at $1,900 USD, excluding taxes.
