Apple Confirms iPhone Duo Pre-Order Dates Ahead of October Launch
Apple's first foldable iPhone is set to arrive on October 23, introducing a dual-display design, A20 Pro chip and a starting price of $1,999 USD.

Apple has confirmed the pre-order schedule for its highly anticipated iPhone Duo, marking the company's first entry into the foldable smartphone category. Customers can begin preparing their purchases through Apple's "Get Ready" process on October 12, ahead of official pre-orders opening on October 16 at 8 a.m. ET.
Available through the Apple Store app and Apple's online store, the advance setup allows customers to select their preferred color, storage capacity, carrier and payment method before checkout. The device will officially arrive in stores on October 23, 2026, across more than 70 countries and regions, with availability expanding to 28 additional markets on October 30.
The iPhone Duo introduces a 7.6-inch inner display with a nano-texture finish designed to reduce glare, alongside a compact 5.4-inch outer screen. Both displays share the same aspect ratio for a consistent viewing experience, while Apple's new A20 Pro chip, precision hinge and dual-battery architecture support the device's foldable design.
Offered in Star White and Night Sky, the iPhone Duo starts at $1,999 USD for the 256GB model, with additional storage options extending to 2TB. The device also features a titanium construction and an optimized iOS 27 experience tailored to its dual-screen format.
With pre-orders approaching, the iPhone Duo represents Apple's most significant smartphone design departure in years, introducing a new form factor to its flagship lineup.
