Joji Officially Announces Forthcoming Album, ‘Piss In The Wind’

The album is centered around the new single, “If It Only Gets Better,” which fuses acoustic guitar with lush, atmospheric production.

The new project is centered around the prompt release of the track and its accompanying video, “If It Only Gets Better.” The tune functions as a poignant connection between Joji's history and present, integrating a base of acoustic guitar and rhythmic bass into a lush, atmospheric production that alludes to his lo-fi origins. The video made by James Mao pays homage to his breakout work, “YEAH RIGHT,” juxtaposing energetic, club-oriented images with contemplative, sparse lyrics.

Piss In The Wind builds off the success of the subtly launched single, “PIXELATED KISSES,” which rapidly garnered tens of millions of worldwide streams and achieved placements on the Billboard Hot 100, Top 200, and Pop charts.
