This year has been eventful for the celebrity brand ambassadors of watch and jewelry maisons, including Cartier, Piaget, Hublot, and Tudor.

Securing brand ambassadors has become highly competitive, since idol groups can be acquired and contracted following the release of their debut song. However, there is considerable risk involved: acknowledgment, affiliation with prominent individuals currently in the media spotlight (for commendable reasons), and entry to their vast audiences of devoted admirers. 2024 has witnessed an abundant influx of celebrity ambassador announcements, and we are just midway through the year. To update you, here are the emerging figures in the watch and jewelry industry to recognize and retain.

Jeff Satur for Cartier

Following months of association with Cartier's designs, the actor and singer has been formally appointed as the maison's newest ambassador for Thailand, joining fellow Thai artists Kimberley Anne Woltemas and Thanapob Leeratanakachorn.

Barry Keoghan as the ambassador for Omega

The Saltburn actor, previously a Friend of the Brand, has formalized his association with Omega following his attendance at the brand's significant launch event in Milan in April for the latest Speedmaster 38mm novelty, and his appearance on the Met Gala red carpet adorned with three Omega watches.

Lee Jun-ho representing Piaget

The 2PM vocalist and dancer has been appointed a global ambassador for Maison Piaget, which acknowledged him for his "radiant and amiable demeanor, alongside his polished and refined fashion sense."

Apo Nattawin for Piaget

Apo Nattawin has been inducted into the Piaget Society as Global Ambassador, following his participation at Watches & Wonders Geneva and the maison’s recent Essence of Extraleganza high jewellery event.

Cheng Yi for Tudor

Chinese actor and vocalist Cheng Yi, renowned for his performances in Noble Aspirations and Mysterious Lotus Casebook, joined the Tudor family early this year, showcasing the Tudor Royal 41mm in steel with a radial-brushed salmon dial.

Liu Haoran representing TAG Heuer

The actor, known as Turbo Liu, made his debut in Beijing Love Story and later starred in Detective Chinatown. He was appointed a TAG Heuer ambassador, donning the watchmaker’s Carrera Chronograph Year of the Dragon.

Yosh Yu for Hublot

One of the prominent figures in the Chinese epic film Creation of the Gods I: Kingdom of Storms, is an equestrian, open-water diver, and actor. Yosh Yu has been appointed as one of Hublot's newest brand ambassadors for exemplifying the qualities of courageously confronting problems, advancing with determination, and persistently transcending limits, so perfectly embodying Hublot's brand philosophy: Be First, Unique, and Different.

Yosh Yu for Chaumet

2024 must be the year of Yosh Yu. In addition to joining the Hublot family, he was simultaneously appointed as the brand ambassador for Chaumet in China, showcasing the maison’s Bee My Love jewellery collection in his inaugural campaign for the brand.

Aya Asahina for Chaumet

In stark contrast to her formidable portrayal of Hikari Kuina in the Netflix series Alice in Borderland, Japanese actress and model Aya Asahina adopted a more refined and sophisticated appearance upon her appointment as Chaumet’s ambassador for Japan in May.
