Bacardí Is Revolutionising Popular Music Tracks In Collaboration With The Dutch Label Top Notch

Distributing exclusive remixes by DJ NEMS and producer Yung Felix through The Sound of Rum.

In recent years, BACARDÍ’s The Sound of Rum has delivered new tracks, distinctive collaborations, and exceptional performances to audiences worldwide. The company collaborates with Dutch music label Top Notch to unveil two exclusive remixes, augmenting its extensive library.

In commemoration of Top Notch's 30th anniversary, this unique project highlights two tracks by label associates Frenna and Sef, with NEMS and Yung Felix introducing an innovative interpretation of their renowned sounds. NEMS reinterprets Frenna’s “My Love” by incorporating amapiano and dancehall rhythms, while Yung Felix is poised to unveil his remix of one of Sef’s tracks in the forthcoming weeks.

BACARDÍ has embodied freedom and self-expression for more than 160 years. "The same energy present in the Dutch music scene," stated BACARDÍ Brand Director Robin van Bruijn in an official release. “The Sound of Rum x 30 Years Top Notch illustrates that certain classics — akin to BACARDÍ and Cola — remain timeless and suitable for any season; they merely acquire a fresh auditory dimension.”

In addition to the two remixes, BACARDÍ and Top Notch have produced two documentary-style segments that provide an insider's perspective of the studio process. These videos will be released over the next two months to provide fans with an unparalleled insight into the creative processes of the participating artists.
